Here is how Spectrum Boom works

Step 1 - Initial Consultation with NOVA

Step 2 - NOVA will Generate Growth Journal

Step 3 - Ask anything, and NOVA will reference the Journal

Step 1: After creating an account you will be begin a consultation with NOVA, your child development assistant. NOVA will gather detailed information to create a comprehensive Growth Journal. This journal will document key aspects of your child’s development, offering suggestions and strategies to support growth. By tracking progress and identifying improvement areas, NOVA aims to help your child thrive and reach their full potential.

It is recommended that you are detailed when you answer NOVA’s questions. The more information you provide, the more tailored, comprehensive and beneficial NOVA will be. You can also upload any reports from Pediatricians, ABA therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, daycare educators, etc for NOVA to document and reference

Step 2: Upon completion, NOVA will generate the your child’s Growth Journal so that it can be printed and shared with your child’s team. For example, after NOVA generated our son’s Growth Journal we printed it out so that our Day Care team had everything on file.

Step 3: You can log back on at any time to update the journal, ask questions and receive advice.

Here are some example questions you can ask NOVA after your consultation

1. Noah only has 2 words he can say, “ Up” and “Stop”, please create a game that the daycare can play so that Noah can be included and more social at daycare.

2. I am dropping Jenny at my mum’s house. She is 70. Please list some strategies on how she should talk to Jenny if she has separation anxiety.

You can also upload documents and ask NOVA to reference them. For example

3. I am taking Carter to his Occupational Therapist today. They usually jump on the trampoline with him. Can you outline some words or phrases they should be highlighting in the session that Speech has been working on with Carter?

4. I’ve attached Carter’s Day Care syllabus for this week. Can you adapt this week’s lesson plan to suit his speech therapy goal?
